How do I uninstall Adobe Media Player from my Mac?
Q. I just got a Mac so I don't quite understand how to use it yet. I installed Photoshop, but decided to uninstall it shortly after. I dragged the folders from my applications folder to my trash. However, Adobe Media Player won't go into the trash. What do I do? Thanks!

A. "I dragged the folders from my applications folder to my trash." This was your mistake, trashing the folders, but, it's not uncommon for new OS X Users, and recent 'Windows Switchers'. Simply re-install Photoshop. Then, just go to your Applications Folder, and drag ONLY the "photoshop.app" file to the trash, and OS X will automatically un-install all related PhotoShop folders and files. Repeat for the "Photoshop.dmg" file, wherever it is. TIP: Try Seashore, InkScape, or Live Quartz, all free alternatives to PhotoShop. Google for them...

Q. I just downloaded it along with Adobe reader and was wondering if it was better, or just as good as Windows Media Player. Will I be able to sync my MP3 Player with it? Or just I go ahead and unistall it now?

A. Adobe Media Player was somewhat nifty, but, it's a v1.0 product and it acts that way. The only remotely interesting thing (to me) was some of the TV shows you can watch for free (e.g. Original Star Trek). It's not as robust of a product as Windows Media Player, so, if you're content with using Windows Media Player...I'd stick with it for now.

Is there anyway to fake your IP so Adobe Media Player or iTunes think that you live in the US?
Q. Obviously I don t live in the US but I am willing to access some content that is currently only available if you play those programs from inside US. Ok. I found a way to get an US account on iTunes living outside the US... it was pretty easy and there was no need to fake the IP (just google a little...). Now I its time to find something for Adobe Media Player. Don t think this may be considered against the law...

Q. I am not able to download the new adobe media player from thier website. I downloaded flash player 9, and adobe air. All i see is the picture when i go to the download page, it does not have the link there, even if i click on the picture nothing happens. Q. I recently downloaded some episodes from Eyeshield 21 since they didn't work online. The first one worked and I watched it using Windows Media Player. The next two didn't seem to be accepted by the program. Then I decided to try to download another media player to see if it could play my video. I ended up with the Adobe Media Player, which didn't seem to work either. What can I do to watch my episodes? Is it the episodes themselves causing the problem or the program? If the program, give me some good media players, the sites to download, or an explanation?

Well, telling us what the file type is would be very helpful (like is the episode an .avi, .mkv, .ogm, etc.) Without knowing the file type the best advice I can give you is to download CCCP and install it along with your Windows Media Player, this will enable it to play a lot more file types. Or if it still doesn't work after that, just download VLC media player, it plays basically every file type there is. And if it happens to be an .rmvb file then you'll either need RealPlayer or install Real Alternative so that rmvb files can play with Windows Media Player.
